Fly Zone Extremely Awesome
My husband and I just took a wedding anniversary trip to St. Martin. As we were looking through Fodor's Caribbean travel book, we saw an excellent rating for the Loterie Farm and the Fly Zone Extreme ziplining experience. Neither one of us had ever been on a zipline before, and we decided to go all the way and test out the Zip Line Extreme. I found Pierre, a staff member who answered e-mails, to be very helpful and prompt with his e-mail responses to my questions. We had a very knowledgable instructor and guide named Raymond. I would highly recommend Raymond if you are able to get him for your first zipline experience. He was so patient as I was the slow one in the group. We had another couple on the excursion with us, and everyone said how much fun they had. This excursion took about 1.5 hours and is well worth the $$ you spend for a great adrenaline rush. An added benefit is to be able to see the lush green rainforest below and to be able to cool off with free "air conditioning" as you ride the lines. We went to the restaurant there afterwards for a cool drink. This is a beautiful place to visit. Be careful as you drive there because there is only one small street sign with "Pic Paradis" off of the main road and if you are not looking, you will miss it!!!! I wish we would have had time to do the guided hike up the mountain, but we will save that for next time. Five days in paradise is simply not enough time to do everything you want to do while in St. Maarten/St. Martin. Many thanks to Raymond and the staff at Loterie Farm for a job well done.

A new favorite place in St. Maarten!
Stopped here with a group - a select adventurous few in our group did the long zip-lining/obstacle course and said they had a blast! The rest of us enjoyed libations and a long lunch. The food and drink were both fantastic. The atmosphere in the outdoor restaurant was shaded, breezy and very "zen" like. We enjoyed the lush greenery from our comfortable seating. We learned that the chef was a canuck from Montreal - she's been responsible for the cuisine at Loterie Farm for several years now. I checked out the pool area with a few others. It was gorgeous and serene. The pool water was from a natural spring.
I will definitely come back and plan to spend an entire day here to enjoy the adventure, yummy food and serenity.

Lunch in Heaven
My wife and I had lunch there we go for the peace and tranquility away from the asphalt and concrete,BUT, the food is just great I had a BBQ roast pork sandwich that was out of this world. My wife had curry chicken salad that was also super. The dressing first rate. The service and speed of the young lady serving us also great. I find the prices reasonable too.
